Church Meeting

Hey everyone,

Those of you who were at church Sunday and participated in our church meeting learned about our new opportunity. We've been learning about Jesus' mustard seed kingdom and that he challenges us to be a very different kind of church--one that looks insignificant next to the world's ways of measuring what is successful.

Part of that meeting was devoted to an opportunity we have to move to another location. This one is a little smaller and a little more humble than the place we are in. It is also much more cost-effective and affords us the opportunity to use what resources we have more wisely--to minister more effectively to those around us. The opportunity is to move to the Kiwanis building at the downtown park in Cumming.

If you were at the meeting we announced that we would not be able to take the prime time slot on Sunday, but would have to meet at a different time. However, that has changed! We now will have the building from 9-12 on Sunday mornings! We will also have it on Tuesdays and Saturdays for our men's meetings.

There was more discussed, such as the mustard seed worship model and mustard seed leadership structure. I hope to have the entire discussion uploaded on our podcast for any of you who missed it very soon. Please check back on our website for more details. I hope to have it updated very soon.

I admit, even though it doesn't make sense to folks who haven't been as immersed in the gospel as we have, I'm more excited about these changes than I've been about any we've made thus far at Castle. We're on the cusp of doing something very...insignificant! Very mustard seed...very kingdom.
