A New Person!

Just got this:

Alissa Patricia Warne was born at approximately 5:00 this evening by C-section. She weighs 8 lbs. and 1 ounce and is 21” long. Mother and baby are doing fine. Don’t know about daddy. Mike didn’t say.

Thank you, God!

Can Drive 2

Hey everyone,

Please don't forget to bring canned food items to church this Sunday for donation to First Christian Church's food kitchen. This is a way for us to minister to those less fortunate this holiday season.

Of course, these are non-perishable items, small-can food items that we need. Thanks!

Prayer Requests

For those of us who know the Gore family:

Jeff's fight is finished. God welcomed him home early this morning, with Lori by his side. Praise God that Jeff has been made perfect and is receiving his reward.
Please continue to check this site, as we will provide information on services for Jeff as arrangements are made. I will also have some information on an opportunity to help leave a written legacy for his family.

Also:
Please issue a prayer request for Pat Ray and Jim. Pat is going into the hospital tomorrow, Wednesday the 18th, for a lung biopsy. She is a member of FCC that many people know.

Let's lift these families up!

Prayer Request

Hey Castlers,

Jan Abernathy asked me to get this out to you. Many of us know Jeff Gore.

"Jeff Gore is fighting cancer and you can reach his caring bridge account for posts at http://www.facebook.com/l/;www.caringbridge.org The password is jeffgore. You can leave Jeff and Lori a message of encouragement and keep up with his progress there."

Thanks!

Jason

Can Drive

Hey Castlers,

Don't forget to bring non-perishable canned food items this coming Sunday! We are collecting food to donate to First Christian Church's food pantry--which will bless many people this Thanksgiving.

For any questions, please contact Trish Earheart!

Thanks!

Just got this prayer request from Jan,

I have no idea what any of your relationships are with Susan, but I know none of us are going to live forever and I wanted you to be aware (if you aren't already) of what Susan and her family are going through. Love is all that matters. Any and everything else apart from Jesus Christ and that love, pales in comparison. We have this minute, this heartbeat, this breath, and that's IT as far as this life goes, potentially at any moment in time.

She has a web site at caringbridge.org. She had surgery in August and was diagnosed with bladder cancer and it was Stage 3 with cells outside the bladder. Yesterday, she received word that a spot on her lungs was Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer from her bladder cancer.

I know there are lots of other people who would want to know & extend their love and caring to her, whose email addresses I don't readily have. I trust each of you will let those know who would earnestly care.

Love to all & God bless, Bev Pruitt~
