Prayer request

Haven't heard from the blog in a while, have you? Well, we've got some prayer needs that have come to our attention and Castle Christian is known for prayer strength. So here goes:

  1. Praise God that these folks were eating at the Waffle House when a tree fell on their house, pulling down the power lines with it and starting a fire. This was the home of Debbie Whigham's sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Jimmy Patterson. They lost their kitchen, dining room and living room before the fire was contained. They are in a hotel for the next month so please pray that the insurance company will extend that stay as the repairs will be taking the next six months. They are also taking care of Jimmy's mother so they have to stay in close proximity to her. Tough situation all the way around.
  2. Many of you probably remember Scott and Tracy Moore. Tracy is the daughter of Sid and Linda Fleming and Scott pastors a Christian Church. Well, Scott has come down with Covid. The Moores have adopted two special needs boys. It would be very detrimental to them if they were ro contract Covid. So pray for Scott that this virus will run its course without complications and pray that neither Tracy nor the boys will get Covid.
  3. Some of you may remember Curtis and Suzie Coleman from First Christian. Curtis is a retired fireman and Suzie was one of the first female lineman for the phone company. Well, they both got Covid and Suzie did okay with it. Curtis, however, is in ICU and close to being on a ventilator. Please pray for him that he will recover.
  4. Of course, pray for our country and our leaders. Pray for Christians around the world that are daily being persecuted and killed. Pray for mankind as so many warnings are beginning to become visible to Christians marking perhaps the end times. Of course remember the Thessalonians thought that too and NO ONE knows when this will happen. Only God, Himself. Just hang on to your hope and pray to God often. Miss you all and love you all. Continue to pray for one another.
