REMEMBER

We're all challenged to bring in at least 3 canned foods for Meals By Grace. This ministry does an amazing job at helping our neighbors in need. Right now their pantries are very low and they need help. Basically foods such as canned meats, vegetables, pastas and sauces will help to restock their shelves.

Please try to bring in what you can to help support this worthy cause.

See you tomorrow morning BACK IN THE VFW BUILDING.

Important information

  1. Meals by Grace is in desperate need for canned foods. In particular they need canned meats like tuna, chicken, etc. They also need canned vegetables, pasta and sauces. Their pantry is low. Here's our challenge: this Sunday will everyone bring in at least 3 canned items for this good cause?
  2. Our time to serve lunch at The Place is scheduled for September 25th. Mark your calendars. Mike Foster will again have a sign-up sheet at this Sunday's service.
  3. We will be back in the VFW building this Sunday morning.

Tomorrow's Service

We will once again be holding our service in God's beautiful outside. The VFW isn't quite ready, but they are thinking it should be finished by next Sunday.

Hope to see you there.

Concerning Sunday's Service....again

The VFW is still not ready for occupation, but they have allowed us to use the pavilion located behind the Ladies Auxiliary building. It is covered and accessible to those of us who have handicap needs.

Thanks for your patience as they continue to work on repairs. Hope to see you Sunday.

This Sunday's Service Cancelation

There was a mishap earlier this week at the VFW. A delivery truck misjudged his truck's size and ripped of the powerlines and some of the facility's roof. Because of this, we will have to postpone church this Sunday.

Please don't forget to pray for those on the prayer list and do set aside time to praise and worship our God and Savior. See you in two weeks and share this information with anyone you know that doesn't get the blog. Thanks.

Prayer request

Debbie Whigham has asked for prayer for her granddaughter's mother, Pamela Wolpert. Her granddaughter, Kenzie Hicks, is Debbie's son, Joe's daughter. Pamela has just been released from the hospital with an episode of kidney failure. In addition Pamela suffers from Guillain-Barre (a rare condition in which the immune system attacks a person's nerve endings). She is seriously ill and needs prayers.

Kenzie also needs prayer coverage as she doesn't know how sick her mother is. Please lift this prayer need for Kenzie and her mother.

Family loss for Debbie Whigham

Debbie just informed us that her aunt, Pat (Katherine) Moon, has passed away. She asks that we particularly lift her mother, Belle Schaffe, and Aunt Pat's children and their families in prayer.

Please remember the people whose lives will feel the loss of this precious part of their families. Losing a loved one is never easy.
