Prayer request

From Lorie Short:

My dad, Ed Morris, underwent lung surgery 2 years ago to remove mesothelioma on the lung. His 6 month scan checkup has revealed that a small nodule that showed up 6 months ago has now doubled in size to 19 mm. Also, he has fluid on the other lung. They are doing a pet scan Tues morning to look at them in more detail. He has had some trouble breathing lately. Thank you for your prayers for him.

The celebration of our Lord and King

O holy night the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth

Invite your friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers to join you Christmas Eve at 7:00pm at the Community Center at McDonald's Funeral Home for a Communion and Candlelight Service to celebrate, honor, and worship the new born king, our Lord Jesus Christ.

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”” (Revelation 11:15)

From Bill

There are many "songs" in the Bible found in both the Old and New Testaments. This week we will look at the most famous biblical song, the Song of Mary. It's loaded with rich meaning that will add significance to the Advent season. I hope to see you Sunday.
