Go north on Highway 400 until you reach the red light at
Highway 53 in Dawsonville. You will turn left at the light onto Highway 53.
Continue on Highway 53 for 2.9 miles until you see Etowah
River Road on your right (on the left side of this
intersection the road is called Thompson
Road). Etowah
River Road will be the third right you come to
after crossing the Etowah River.
Turn right onto Etowah
River Road. You will pass the entrance to
Cornerstone Christian Church on your right. Keep going until you see the sign for Etowah
River Church of Christ on your right. Take that turn and continue on the
driveway to the top of the hill.
The address is 494
Etowah River Road. Google maps only gives you an approximation of the location. If you encounter Seed Tick Road on your left, you missed the church entrance. It's approximately 1/2 mile from Highway 53. You cannot see the church from the road, but you may be able to visualize the covered bridge on the backside of the property.
You are asked to bring an appetizer or two to share at the reception (money is tight as you all well know). Dress comfortably. The service will be outside, weather permitting.
