Please remember Debbie Whigham's former mother-in-law, Leigh Hicks. She has suffered a stroke and is not doing well. The doctors offer a grim prognosis. Include Debbie's children, Deborah and Chris in your prayers as their families are affected by the illness of their grandmother.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who prepared food or helped serve at the PLACE.We served 72 meals plus did 15 take out orders Wednesday.Again thank you to Anne, Maurice, Lorie, Pat, Jan, Eva, Gayle, Dennis, Bud and Betsy, Sherry and Roger for supplying the food .

A big thank you  to Anne , Mike, Maurice. Eva, Felicia, and Dennis for serving the meal.

Our next meal is May 3rd.

Church Missions News

New Opportunity

We will begin supporting Meals by Grace located here in Cumming. http://www.mealsbygrace.org/
This ministry provides food and household products to families in need. There is a small store facility located at 549 Lake Center Parkway where clients can visit and shop on Tuesday or Thursday between 10-2. This ministry also has many service opportunities found on their website. 

At this time, we would like to help them with the following items:

Empty Laundry Detergent Bottles

Empty (clean) large yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, containers.

Empty Egg cartons

The Earhart's will collect these items as they are brought to church.
