Church fun

Just a reminder of a few things:

1. This is the last Sunday to bring in school supplies for the children in Haiti. For those of you that may not know, Cathy Schmidle goes every year with a group to help out in an orphanage there. We will be collecting more items in the coming months for this mission.
2. We will be collecting donations for the "Bags of Love" program during the month of July. This mission takes lunches to the children in our county that were on free or reduced lunch. Now that school is out this program intends to fill in the gap. If you'd like to make a monetary donation, just indicate on your check how much is intended to go toward this program. If you'd like to help with the assemblage of the lunches themselves or even help making the deliveries, let Judy Ware know (404-434-8835) and she can guide you.
3. We will have a guest pianist to lead us in hymns this Sunday. Please welcome Martha Vernon.
4. The church picnic will be held this Sunday (6/14/2015) beginning at 12:00 pm. The gathering will take place at the home of Jim and Sandi Stahl - 7450 Bronson Way, Cumming (770-597-8237). The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, cups, plates, napkins, pastic-ware and drinks. You are asked to bring a side and Bill really, really, really wants you to bring a dessert. :) It would be a good idea to bring a chair as well.

•  Pencils/Colored Pencils
•  Erasers
•  Sharpeners 
•  Small (individual size) boxes of crayons
•  Rulers
•  Small boxes of markers

New news and important reminders

First the new news: Beginning this week, Bill will have office hours every Friday. He will be making visits and taking appointments. If you'd like some time or need some time with him, please call him @ 706-658-6405 or email him @ billford6405@icloud.com.

So sorry, everyone. I misread the messages concerning this workday. It's after services NEXT Sunday not tomorrow. Getting old is not always fun. Sorry about the confusion.

Workday tomorrow after church

We are going to be "building" hymnals for our worship services tomorrow after church. Anyone is welcomed to join in on this time of fellowship and work. Michael will be picking up pizzas so none of us starve. This should be a very nice change for us.

Tuesday night Bible Study

Unfortunately, Bill needs to cancel this week's Bible Study (05/05/2015). We will meet again on 05/19/2015.
