Cookies with Santa

Next Sunday, 12/6, we will be sharing cookies, Santa and Christmas Carols with Laurel Creek Manor Assisted Living from 3 PM to 4:30. The address is 7955 Majors Road, Cumming 30041. Just show up by 3:00 to be part of the festivities. Check with Kathy Umberger if you need more details.

Food Donation

The non-perishable foods we delivered to First Christian Church were GREATLY appreciated and put to very good benefit for the community. It was decided that we make this an on-going outreach and bring canned or boxed foods whenever we can to church on Sundays and Mike Earhart will deliver them to FCC.

Can Drive 2

Hey everyone,

Please don't forget to bring canned food items to church this Sunday for donation to First Christian Church's food kitchen. This is a way for us to minister to those less fortunate this holiday season.

Of course, these are non-perishable items, small-can food items that we need. Thanks!

Prayer Requests

For those of us who know the Gore family:

Jeff's fight is finished. God welcomed him home early this morning, with Lori by his side. Praise God that Jeff has been made perfect and is receiving his reward.
Please continue to check this site, as we will provide information on services for Jeff as arrangements are made. I will also have some information on an opportunity to help leave a written legacy for his family.

Also:
Please issue a prayer request for Pat Ray and Jim. Pat is going into the hospital tomorrow, Wednesday the 18th, for a lung biopsy. She is a member of FCC that many people know.

Let's lift these families up!

Thanks!
